Losing weight is just as much mental as it is physical and it's importand to get your brain on board with your weight loss goals.

Think, act and feel like you are already that weight! When I wanted to lose 30lbs, down to 230 from 265, I had to imagine that I was already 230lbs. I would focus on being that number and I would write in down, and tell myself that I weighed 230lbs. Even when I got on the treadmill and had to enter a weight, I would enter the weight I wanted to be, not the weight I was.

Give gratitude for your new weight! During your time of meditation or prayer, I am thankful and grateful for being the light, lean, healthy weight of 130lbs. And say it as if it is so. Visualize being there, people giving you compliments on looking good, coworkers and even random strangers being impressed by your new body! The subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between what is real and what is imagined, and will except your consistent thoughts and beliefs as a real experience.

Imagine that you were a fitness Guru, or expert, and you were giving advice to someone who had to lose weight in order to reverse or avoid major disease like heart disease, or diabetes. What advice would you give to them? For the most part, you would tell them all of the rights things to do, because we have heard what we need to do. Eat lean protein, more vegetables and fruits, and eliminate fried foods, junk foods, sweets, and processed foods. Drink more water and eliminate soft drinks. We all know these things, so we know what to do, but doing it, is a totally different story. The advice that you are giving to them, take heed to it yourself. Shouldn't you be doing and following the expert advice that you are giving others?
