A TV show segment pitch is a carefully written or verbal form of communication intended to "sell" a producer on the idea of having you, your story or your product on their show. You should always have a fresh collection of these on hand and in your press kit. The format of a pitch for television is different than a sales pitch you might present to a customer, client or audience.
